Chethana Seneviratne

Chethana Seneviratne possesses extensive experience in translation services, currently working as a Freelance Translator at Webzlab.com and holding positions at the Central Bank of Sri Lanka and Colombo Municipal Council since 2021. Additional roles include Invigilator at the British Council since 2019 and various freelance translation positions across multiple companies including Need L Translation, WordTailor Translators, and Flyrich SWORN Translation. Chethana has contributed as a TAUS Human Language project translator/reviewer in Sinhalese and gained early experience as a trainee translator at the University of Kelaniya. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Translation Studies (Special) from the University of Kelaniya, completion of chartered accountancy at the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka, and language certificate courses in Tamil and Chinese from the University of Kelaniya.
