Dr Anthony Manning

Dr. Anthony Manning currently serves as the Dean for Global & Lifelong Learning at the University of Kent, a role that builds on prior experience as Dean for Internationalisation, where responsibilities included overseeing the development of international activities. Dr. Manning is also the founding Director of the Centre for English and World Languages and has been involved in various international education initiatives, including being an Academic Quality Committee Member at NCUK and a trustee for the British Accreditation Council. Dr. Manning has a rich academic background, holding multiple degrees in education and languages, and is recognized as a National Teaching Fellow and Principal Fellow of the Higher Education Academy. Additionally, Dr. Manning has held roles as an External Examiner and advisor for numerous universities and is actively engaged in promoting internationalisation in higher education.
