Ellen Darling

Ellen Darling is a Senior Manager of Research and Insight at the British Council, with a career spanning over two decades. Since January 1997, Ellen has overseen the commissioning, production, and publishing of English language teaching publications and research papers, while managing the TeachingEnglish web pages. Prior to this role, Ellen served as a teacher and teacher trainer, including positions as a CELTA assessor and web manager for EnglishAgenda and TeachingEnglish websites, and taught English to various learner demographics. Ellen's educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from The University of Sheffield, a Licentiate Diploma in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages, and numerous teacher education credentials, demonstrating a strong foundation in education and language instruction.
