Ian Cortez

Ian Cortez is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in business development and management within the British Council, where contributions since December 2008 have included roles such as Head of Business Development and Regional Lead for Exams – Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion. Ian has held various leadership positions, including Cluster Commercial Manager for Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam, and has a strong focus on partnerships and inclusivity. Ian's educational background includes a Master's degree in International/Global Studies from the University of the Philippines and a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy (Magna Cum Laude) from the same institution. Currently, Ian is pursuing a Master's in Innovation & Business at the Asian Institute of Management.
