Maddalaine Ansell has extensive experience in the education sector and legal field. Currently serving as Director of Education at the British Council, Maddalaine has also held key positions at the Department for Business, Innovation and Skills, including Head of the International Knowledge & Innovation Unit and Head of Skills Strategy. Prior legal experience includes roles as an Associate Lawyer at Sullivan & Cromwell LLP and Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer.
