Mubbashir Sheikh Mashoo

Mubbashir Sheikh Mashoo is an experienced professional associated with the British Council since October 2016, currently serving as Interim Senior Programme Manager for the Aawaz II initiative. Mubbashir has progressively taken on various roles, including Programme Manager for Higher Education & Skills and Country Environment Coordinator for Pakistan. Responsibilities have included coordinating training programs across multiple districts, managing project contracts, and ensuring compliance with environmental policies. Mubbashir has also engaged in significant projects related to higher education partnerships, parliamentary dialogues, and capacity building in social issues. In previous roles, Mubbashir has contributed to organizations such as the Global Shapers Community and Classic Rock Coffee Pakistan, showcasing a diverse skill set in project management, coordination, and community engagement. Mubbashir holds a Master’s degree in Project Management and a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management from COMSATS Institute of Information Technology, along with a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the University of the Punjab.
