Sean Smith

Sean Smith, MBA, has extensive experience in educational leadership within the British Council, currently serving as the Regional Teaching Excellence Lead for Asia Pacific since August 2018. Previous roles include Head of Adults and Acting Director of English Language Services for Malaysia and Indonesia. Prior to this, Sean held various positions including Teaching and Learning Engagement Manager for East Asia and Deputy Director of English Language Services in Japan. Sean's career began at David English House, where teaching responsibilities spanned all age groups and settings. Educational qualifications include an MBA from the University of Bradford specializing in management, a DTEFLA from the University of Cambridge, and a Bachelor's degree in French and Business Studies from the University of Hull.
