Sheeraz Ahmed

Sheeraz Ahmed serves as the Head of Technology, Digital Partnerships and Innovation at the British Council since October 2018, where responsibilities include managing technology operations aligned with business performance and leading country transformation and automation programs. Prior to this role, Sheeraz held the position of Senior Information Technology Manager at S&P Global Market Intelligence, delivering technology managed services and overseeing infrastructure operations. Earlier experiences include Manager Enterprise Information Technology at Telenor, achieving high levels of IT service delivery, and Managed Services Manager at Nawat Calibration, focusing on IT project management and stakeholder relations. Additional roles encompassed IT Manager at Wavetec, Senior System Engineer at Standard Chartered Bank, and early training in various technical and management programs. Sheeraz Ahmed is currently pursuing a PhD in Business, Management, Marketing, and Data Analytics at Quaid-i-Azam University, having previously earned an MBA in Management Information Systems and a Bachelor of Technology in Information Technology, among other qualifications.
