Richard Lodge

Having been Chairman of the West Midlands Region since 2005, Richard Lodge was elected to the British Cycling board for three years in 2017. He also holds the position of chair of the track commission.

Richard is a Level 3 trained coach and delivers weekly Go-Ride sessions at Solihull CC, and has previously managed the West Midlands Centre of Excellence team, been Team Manager for the West Midlands Regional Youth road and track teams and organised a number of events as part of the West Midlands Road Race League. He was awarded the British Cycling Volunteer Award for the West Midlands in 2009.

He competed regionally, nationally and across Europe on both the road and track, and has worked in the tax profession since 1984, establishing his own specialist consultancy company in 2003.
