Klara Nordström

Klara Nordström is currently the Head of Digital Content at the British Dental Association since March 2023. Prior to this role, Klara served as the Digital and Internal Communications Manager at the Local Government Association from May 2017 to January 2023, where responsibilities included leading the digital team, managing internal communications, and focusing on Equalities, Diversity, and Inclusion initiatives. Klara also held positions such as Digital Communications Adviser and Digital Content Manager (maternity cover) within the LGA. Additional experience includes interim Social Media Manager at the World Tourism Organization, Account Manager at Westminster City Council, and various roles at the UNWTO, including Communications Specialist. Klara's career began with research assistant positions at Uppsala University and the Embassy of Sweden in Kuala Lumpur, along with customer service work at SJ AB. Klara holds a Master of Science (MSc) in Politics and International Studies from Uppsala University and studied at Universidad de Salamanca.
