Nick Barker

Nick Barker serves as a Professor of Oral Health Sciences and Programme Lead in the MSc in Periodontology at the University of Essex since 2015. Additionally, Nick holds the position of Chair at NHS England and is a member of the UK Council of the British Dental Association. Since 2012, Nick has also been a Dento-Legal Expert Witness for Dental Indemnifiers and has been the Owner and Principal Dentist at Oracle Dental Group since 1994. Nick's prior experience includes serving as a Postgraduate Dental Tutor at Colchester Hospital University NHS Foundation Trust from 2013 to 2020. Nick earned a Master’s Degree in Restorative Dental Practice from the University of London between 2004 and 2009.
