Malcolm Fare

Archivist at British Fencing

Malcolm Fare is the Curator at the National Fencing Museum, where Malcolm manages a collection of books, prints, trophies, weapons, and ephemera related to the history of fencing from the 16th century. Malcolm also serves as the Secretary for The Hanleys' Village Society, focusing on the heritage of Hanley Castle and Hanley Swan. As the Archivist for British Fencing, Malcolm is responsible for preserving fencing archives. Additionally, Malcolm has experience as an Editor for The Sword, a fencing publication, and as a Fencing Information Specialist at the London 2012 Olympics. Malcolm has authored publications such as "The Hanleys - A History of Hanley Castle and Hanley Swan" and "A Century of Fencing in Britain."
