Andrew Bean

Andrew Bean is a seasoned Geospatial Application Developer and Modelling Specialist at the British Geological Survey since November 2016, with a strong background as a freelance Software Consultant since 2010. Andrew has experience as a PhD Researcher and Graduate Teaching Assistant at Imperial College London from 2011 to May 2016, where Andrew taught C/C++ programming and object-oriented programming concepts. Previous roles include technical support and web design at CORREL Rail Limited from 2003 to 2010, as well as summer employment at Aegis Engineering Systems (AES) Ltd in 2007. Andrew holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Imperial College London and a Master of Engineering (MEng) in Information Systems Engineering from the same institution, complemented by education at KTH Royal Institute of Technology.
