Andrew McConnochie

Andrew joined BGS in October 2020. He has senior director level international experience spanning 25 years within government, non-governmental organisations, and the private sector including within mining, oil, gas and energy. As Director of Operations, he is responsible for providing leadership and management of the operational support infrastructure at BGS. He will also be leading and driving developments in business support, finance, estates and facilities, health and safety, legal services and people management systems and processes. Andrew brings a wealth of experience to BGS, with a real interest and focus on Business Development, which will be vital in increasing BGS commercial external income streams and identifying new business opportunities with the support of the Business Development and Innovation Team.
