Catherine Cripps is an experienced Survey Geologist and Sedimentologist currently working at the British Geological Survey since May 2009. Prior to this role, Catherine gained valuable experience as a Research Assistant at the University of Turku where involvement included geological mapping and geochemical sampling of a Holocene delta in Pori, Finland as part of an EU framework 7 project. Catherine holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Geological and Earth Sciences from the University of St Andrews, earned between 1998 and 2002, and a Master's Degree in Geology/Environmental Science/Quaternary Science from Turun yliopisto - University of Turku, obtained from 2006 to 2009.
