David Boon

David Boon is a Senior Engineering and Geothermal Geologist at the British Geological Survey since October 2005, where responsibilities include serving as Deputy Head of Station in BGS Wales. Prior experience includes a role as an Engineering Geologist at GNS Science from September 2009 to June 2010, focused on preparing 3D geological models and seismic hazard maps. David also worked with the UK Ministry of Defence in the Land Quality Team for a year, conducting land quality assessments. Academic credentials include a Master's Degree in Engineering Geology and a BSc in Environmental Geology from the University of Leeds.
