John Stevenson is an accomplished senior software developer with extensive experience in data engineering and DevOps, currently leading development at the British Geological Survey since October 2017. Prior to this role, John held a senior software developer position at thinkWhere, focusing on significant data migration projects. John's academic career includes a Royal Society of Edinburgh Research Fellowship at the University of Edinburgh, where a £470,000 grant facilitated research on volcanic ash transport.
