Jonathan Chambers

Jonathan Chambers is an accomplished academic and professional in the field of geophysics, currently serving as an Honorary Professor of Geophysics at the University of Bristol since 2017. With extensive experience at the British Geological Survey since 2000, Jonathan has held several key positions, including Head of Shallow Geohazards and Earth Observation, Research Geophysicist, Team Leader in Geophysical Tomography, and NERC Knowledge Exchange Fellow for Infrastructure. Jonathan's academic credentials include a PhD in Applied and Environmental Geophysics from the University of Sheffield, an MSc in Industrial Rocks and Minerals from the University of Leicester, and a BSc (Hons) in Geology from the University of Bristol.
