Majdi Mansour

Groundwater Modeller at British Geological Survey

Majdi Mansour is an experienced groundwater modeller currently employed at the British Geological Survey since October 2002. Previously, Majdi served as a research student at the University of Birmingham from January 1998 to January 2002, focusing on the development of an object-oriented numerical model for simulating radial groundwater flows in unconfined aquifers, as well as applying this model to a pumping test analysis related to an MSc project. Earlier in their career, Majdi worked as a water resource engineer at Dar Al Handasah Consultants from May 1994 to August 1998, where involvement included hydrological studies, flood analysis, and designing sewerage networks in multiple countries. Majdi holds a PhD and MSc in Civil Engineering from the University of Birmingham, and a BSc in Civil Engineering from Jâmi'at Bâyrut Al-Arabiya.
