Oliver Kuras

Principal Research Geophysicist at British Geological Survey

Oliver Kuras is a Principal Research Geophysicist at the British Geological Survey since November 2001, leading initiatives in near-surface geophysics with specialized expertise in geoelectrical monitoring, electrical resistivity tomography, and capacitive resistivity imaging. Previously, Oliver served as a Senior Research Geophysicist at EAGE from June 2016 to June 2018, also holding the position of Board member and Chair for the Near-Surface Geoscience Division. Oliver Kuras holds a PhD in Environmental Geophysics from the University of Nottingham (1998-2003) and an MSc in Physics from The University of Göttingen (1992-1998).
