Ricky Terrington is the Geospatial Data and Technologies Lead at the British Geological Survey, a position held since June 2001. Ricky manages and leads 3D geospatial modelling and visualisation projects, engages external partners for commercial income, and develops innovative geospatial data solutions for research. Responsibilities include project management, mentoring, proposal writing, and quality assurance for geospatial data outputs. Academic qualifications include a Master of Science in Geographical Information Science and a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science, both from the University of Nottingham. Prior experience includes a role as a Customer Assistant at Tesco PLC from June 1997 to May 2001.
