Rose Want

Rose Want is an accomplished public engagement specialist with extensive experience in geoscience education. Currently serving as the Public Engagement Manager at the British Geological Survey since May 2022, Rose leads initiatives to enhance public engagement through partnerships, notably with the Natural History Museum. Prior roles include Education Officer at the Geological Society of London, where Rose developed educational initiatives and promoted diversity in Earth Science teaching, as well as positions at the Horniman Museum and Natural History Museum focusing on science education. Rose's background is supported by a Master of Science in Science Communication and Public Engagement from The University of Edinburgh and a Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Earth Science from the University of Glasgow.
