Jessica Capelli Beavan serves as the Equity, Equality, Diversity & Inclusion Manager at UK Coaching since February 2022, focusing on fostering inclusive environments and supporting diverse coaching workforces. With extensive experience at British Gymnastics since 2006, Jessica has held roles including Internal Verifier and Participation Inclusion Officer, leading initiatives to promote inclusivity and manage educational programs for tutors and assessors. Jessica has also contributed significantly to local gymnastics development through various managerial positions, securing funding and establishing projects aimed at increasing participation. Additional involvement as Head of Gymnastics at Holborn Community Association showcases Jessica's commitment to community engagement and development. Educational credentials include an ILM Level 5 Leadership and Management Award and a BA (Hons) in English Literature with Italian.

We are the UK national governing body for the sport of gymnastics, dedicated to developing gymnasts, coaches and clubs across a range of disciplines. We exist to support, lead and inspire all those involved or interested in Gymnastics. British Gymnastics disciplines include, Acrobatic Gymnastics, Aerobic Gymnastics, Disability Gymnastics, Men’s Artistic Gymnastics, Rhythmic Gymnastics, TeamGym, Trampoline ,Double Mini Tramp, Tumbling, Women’s Artistic Gymnastics. Gymnastics For All (GFA) encompasses a wide range of activities, competitions and Festivals including Freestyle Gymnastics and Cheerleading. Breath-taking to watch and exciting to perform, gymnastics has something to offer everyone. Performance gymnasts demonstrate amazing skill, exceptional strength and great courage however Gymnastics is a sport that offers everyone a fun, social and exhilarating activity from babies at 8 weeks old to veterans of 88 years+. One of the world’s first sports governing bodies, British Gymnastics was founded in 1888 as the British Amateur Gymnastics Association and is a member of the World Governing Body for Gymnastics (FIG), the European Governing Body (UEG) and the British Olympic Association (BOA).
