Deborah Auty

Head Of Heart Health Projects; at British Heart Foundation

Deborah Auty has a strong background in healthcare and marketing. Deborah began their career at the British Medical Association in 1996 where they served as Head of Marketing and Publications for nine years. In this role, they were responsible for various tasks including supporting negotiations for new contracts, managing BMA membership, and co-founding the 'Doctors for doctors' service. Auty then joined the British Heart Foundation in 2008 as Head of Heart Health Projects. Deborah played a key role in the creation and launch of the Heart Matters service, which now has over 250,000 members.

Deborah Auty obtained an MA degree in History from the University of Oxford in 1982-1985. Prior to that, they completed a BA (hons) in Modern History from Pembroke College, Oxford in 1981-1984.
