Emma Hawkins

Emma Hawkins has a diverse work experience across various companies and roles in the finance industry. Emma currently works as the Innovative Finance Lead at British International Investment since April 2023. Previously, they worked as an Investment Manager at CDC Group plc from November 2020 to May 2022. Before that, they held the position of Director of Corporate Finance at PEGAfrica from August 2019 to November 2020. Emma also worked multiple roles at CDC Group plc, including Investment Manager and Investment Executive, focusing on Off-Grid Solar Debt and Corporate Debt Team. Prior to that, they were an Associate at VTB Capital, where they worked on structured fixed income products in emerging and frontier markets. Emma's career began as a Latin America Analyst at Business Monitor International.

Emma Hawkins attended Withington Girls' School from 1997 to 2007. Emma then pursued a degree in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics (PPE) at the University of Durham from 2007 to 2010.
