Genevieve Joy

Genevieve Joy is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in impact investing, strategic communications, and project management. Currently serving as the Manager of ESG Impact at British International Investment since September 2017, Genevieve plays a key role in advancing the organization's development finance initiatives in Africa, Asia, and the Caribbean. Previous experience includes business development and communications at PagaBags, research assistance at Saïd Business School where work included coauthoring reports on organizational behavior, and consulting roles focused on public health impact analysis and agricultural projects. Genevieve holds a Master of Public Administration from The London School of Economics and a Bachelor's degree in English with a minor in Sustainable Development from Columbia University, complemented by additional studies in land acquisition and involuntary resettlement.
