Iain MacAulay

Iain Macaulay serves as the Director and Head of Project Finance for both British International Investment and CDC Group plc, overseeing significant growth in team size and portfolio across Africa and South Asia in sectors such as power, transport, real estate, manufacturing, and general infrastructure, with a strong emphasis on development impact and sustainable investments. Prior to these roles, Iain held the position of Lead Principal in Infrastructure & Telecommunications Project Finance at Nedbank, along with experience in business and project management consulting and project management across various companies. Iain's educational background includes an MBA in Finance and an MSc in Project Management, Property Development, and Risk Management, both from the University of the Witwatersrand, and a BSc (Hons).
