Jon Hughes has extensive work experience in risk management and finance. Jon has held various leadership roles in reputable companies such as British International Investment, Xram, Goldman Sachs, Rothesay Life, and ExxonMobil. Jon's most recent position was as the Chief Risk Officer (CRO) at British International Investment. Jon previously served as the Deputy Global Head Operational Risk and the Chief Risk Officer of Merchant Banking Services at Goldman Sachs. Jon has a strong background in market risk, capital analysis, and operational risk. Jon also has experience in project management, having led the implementation of a new global market risk system at Goldman Sachs. Additionally, Jon has served as a trustee for the Goldman Sachs Pension fund.

Jon Hughes earned a Master of Engineering (MEng) degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Cambridge, where they studied from 1990 to 1994. Jon also obtained a certification in the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants from THE CHARTERED INSTITUTE OF MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTANTS in the year 2000.
