Yanou Segers

Yanou Segers is an experienced professional in environmental, social, and governance (ESG) impact, currently serving as an Executive for ESG Programmes and Impact at British International Investment since September 2019. This role involves supporting private sector growth and innovation in emerging economies, as well as managing investment programmes focused on ESG impacts. Previously, Yanou held positions as an Associate and Coordinator in the same team at British International Investment, and worked as a Communication & Investor Relations Associate at Incofin Investment Management, which specializes in rural financial inclusion and the agri-food value chain. Additional experience includes work as a Communication and Branding Specialist with various organizations and a communication internship at Flanders Fashion Institute. Yanou holds a Master of Science in International Development from Birkbeck, University of London, and a Bachelor's degree in Journalism from AP Hogeschool Antwerpen, along with an exchange programme in Journalism from Universidad CEU San Pablo.
