Bryan Lewis has extensive work experience in the real estate investment industry. Bryan began their career at CBRE in 1988, where they initially worked in commercial rent review and lease renewal before transitioning to investment management. At CBRE, they were responsible for managing investment portfolios for UK-based pension funds. In 1995, Lewis joined British Land, where they held various roles, including Head of Retail & Leisure Investment. In this role, they managed a team that transacted over £1 billion of assets annually. Bryan also led the residential Build to Rent team and oversaw the acquisition of a Private Rental Residential business and property portfolio. Additionally, Lewis was on secondment from the Investment team to run the acquisition and investment function for the development of Canada Water, a 53-acre mixed-use regeneration project in London. Bryan is currently self-employed.
Bryan Lewis has a diverse education history spanning multiple institutions and fields of study. In 1985 to 1988, they attended the University of East London, where they pursued a B.Sc. (Hons) degree in Land Administration. Following this, in 1997, they briefly studied at City, University of London, specializing in Modern Portfolio Theory and obtaining an M.Phil degree. Bryan's education journey continued in 2010, when they attended the University of Cambridge for a short period. During this time, they focused on Property, Economics, and Finance, ultimately obtaining a Dip IPF degree.
