Colin Packer is an experienced professional with a strong background in actuarial science and leadership within various organizations. Currently serving as Director for CASEwork Services Community Interest Company and as Director and Treasurer for British Mensa Limited since October 2021, Colin has a longstanding commitment to volunteer roles, including Treasurer and Trustee for Age UK York since March 2020. Previously, Colin held a significant position as Trustee Director for the Aviva Staff Pension Scheme, overseeing a substantial fund of £16 billion. With nearly 39 years of experience at Aviva and its predecessor companies, Colin’s expertise encompasses a range of actuarial and managerial roles. Educational qualifications include becoming a Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries, earning an MBA from Heriot Watt University, and a Bachelor of Social Science (Hons) from the University of Birmingham.
