Cara Wilson

Cara Wilson has extensive experience in the humanitarian sector, currently serving as Cash Hub Helpdesk Manager at the British Red Cross since August 2018, with prior roles including Cash Programme Officer, Cash Team Coordinator, and Programme Officer for the COVID-19 'Hardship Fund'. Cara also contributed to the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies as a CVA/IM Officer during deployment for the Ukraine Crisis Response in 2022. Previous experience includes teaching as a Key Stage 2 Teacher at Northlands Wood Primary Academy from 2015 to 2017 and serving as a Summer School Ambassador for the University of Nottingham. Cara holds a Master of Arts in Education and International Development from IOE - UCL's Faculty of Education and Society and multiple degrees related to education and psychology from the University of Sussex and the University of Nottingham.
