Lydia Carter MacKie

Lydia Carter Mackie is currently a Senior Regional Fundraiser at the British Red Cross, a position held since June 2023. Prior experience includes working as a Consultant at enable | recruitment, and serving as a Senior Events Fundraiser at the Meningitis Research Foundation from September 2020 to February 2023. Lydia has also contributed to the National Student Fundraising Association as a Staff Lead and Support in the Events Stream while holding various roles including National and International Challenge Fundraising Coordinator at Plymouth RAG. An academic background includes pursuing a Master of Science in Humanitarianism Conflict and Development at the University of Bath, alongside a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology with Criminology and Criminal Justice Studies from the University of Plymouth. Earlier educational achievements include A Levels at Wyggeston and Queen Elizabeth I College in Psychology, History, and English Literature.
