Penny Sims

Penny Sims has extensive experience in media and communications, currently serving as Media Manager for both the UK news team and Policy and Causes at British Red Cross since May 2008. Prior roles include Communications Development Delegate with the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies, focusing on support for Syrian Arab Red Crescent, and various press officer positions at organizations such as Sport Relief, Comic Relief, Brighton Dome & Festival, and the Pleasance Theatre. Additionally, Penny has a background in press and marketing management at Underbelly Venues. Penny holds a degree from the University of Leeds, earned between 1993 and 1996.
