Dan Batson has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Dan started their career as a Primary Class Teacher and ICT Coordinator at Pheasey Park Farm Primary School from 1998 to 2005. Dan then joined The British School Al Khubairat in 2005 as a Primary Class Teacher, Maths, and ICT Coordinator. Dan was later promoted to Assistant Headteacher - Primary and held this position until 2014. During this time, they were responsible for academic and pastoral standards in Years 5 and 6 and managed Subject Coordinators. In 2014, Batson joined the British School of Bucharest as the Deputy Head of Primary and Whole School DSL. In this role, they have overseen the curriculum, assessment and reporting systems throughout the Primary school and ensured the highest teaching and learning standards are maintained.

Dan Batson completed their Bachelor of Education in Primary Education from the University of Wolverhampton from 1993 to 1998. Dan later pursued a Master of Arts in Education from Liverpool Hope University, which they completed from 2010 to 2014.
