David Oram Msc

David Oram MSc currently serves as Superintendent - Protect and Prepare for British Transport Police, a position held since June 2017, while also fulfilling the role of PSA BTP Chair & National Executive Member for the Police Superintendents' Association since September 2023. David's previous experience includes significant leadership positions within the British Transport Police, including Chief Inspector and Detective Inspector in the Criminal Investigation Department, as well as community policing roles with West Yorkshire Police. Earlier, David worked with the Foreign and Commonwealth Office as an Expert to the Ministry of Interior and as Head of Field Office and Community Police for EUPOL, following a tenure as a Non Commissioned Officer in the British Army. David holds a Master of Science in International Policing from the University of South Wales and a financial services qualification from the Chartered Insurance Institute.
