In parallel roles, James serves as the Safeguarding Operational Lead for the British Transport Police, ensuring protection against child exploitation across the UK, and as Principal Consultant for Gloucestershire County Council, conducting a comprehensive review of safeguarding partnerships. Additional positions include Strategic Lead for Adolescent and Family Help Transformation at Surrey County Council, and Consultant Project Lead at Portsmouth City Council, among others.
