Kate Downs

Kate Downs currently serves as the Senior Security and Facilities Manager at Royal Museums Greenwich, a position held since September 2023. Prior to this role, extensive experience was accumulated at British Transport Police beginning in April 2012, where responsibilities included positions such as Head of Designing out Crime and National Designing out Crime Manager. Earlier experience includes working as a Crime Management Unit Officer at Surrey Police from October 2006 to April 2012. Kate Downs holds a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Forensic Investigation & Criminology from the University of Lincoln, earned between 2001 and 2004.
