Mark Lawrie

Mark Lawrie has extensive experience with the British Transport Police, having served in various capacities since 2004, including roles as Operational Lead, Head of Special Constabulary, and Superintendent of B Division Operations and Crime. Lawrie has led significant initiatives such as the Demand Review Project and the Force Efficiencies Project, focusing on optimizing resources and reducing expenditures. Previous positions include Chief Inspector responsible for safeguarding and engagement for the London Underground lines and Inspector roles in both neighbourhood policing and specialist units. Lawrie's early career included a consultancy role with Halcrow on the Crossrail project and a security advisory position for Transport for London. Mark Lawrie holds a BEng in Engineering and Management from the University of Exeter.
