Juan Rosales is an accomplished medical professional with extensive experience in sports medicine and emergency medicine. Currently serving as the GB Students Chief Medical Officer at British Universities & Colleges Sport (BUCS) since May 2017, Juan is responsible for the medical planning for athletes participating in the 2025 FISU Summer World University Games. In addition to roles as Team Doctor for British Rowing and Chief Medical Officer for UIPM - World Pentathlon, Juan is also a Consultant in Emergency Medicine at Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust. Other responsibilities include acting as a TASS Network Registered Doctor and serving as an examiner for the General Medical Council. With academic credentials that include a degree in Sports Medicine and a medical degree from Universidad Central de Venezuela, Juan Rosales combines clinical expertise with leadership in various sports health initiatives.
