Edoardo Piano

Edoardo Piano is a Technical Forum Chair at British Water since April 2023, focusing on unifying the perspectives of members on technical issues to present to government and other stakeholders. Previously, Edoardo served as a secondee to the Cost Assessment Team at Ofwat from October 2023 to October 2024, contributing to Cost Assessments for the PR24 regarding the Industrial Emissions Directive. In a long-standing role as an Associate at Arup from September 2004 to October 2024, Edoardo leads a team of nearly 20 process engineers, engaging in various projects across the built environment, with significant experience in asset planning and delivery, particularly in biosolids and sludge management. Edoardo holds a PhD in Engineering from the University of Cambridge and an MEng in Mechanical Engineering from UCL.
