Nigel W. is an accomplished communications professional with extensive experience in various leadership roles. Currently serving as the Group Head of External Communications at Brittany Ferries since October 2015, Nigel collaborates closely with president Jean-Marc Roué and CEO Christophe Mathieu. Previously, Nigel held the position of Chairman at Discover Ferries from September 2020 to September 2023, working alongside directors Emma and Abby. Additional experience includes serving as PR Director - Automotive at JJ Marketing, Global Product Communications Manager at Rolls-Royce Motor Cars, and Media Manager for the Southern Region at the Environment Agency. Nigel began a career in communications as Head of Communications at SMMT, where positive feedback from the retiring CEO highlighted a successful tenure. Nigel holds a BA (Hons) in Psychology with a focus on Social Psychology from the University of Sussex.
