Tomas Pokorny

Tomas Pokorny has a diverse career history spanning various industries and roles. Tomas has been the Founder & Chairman of the Board, CEO of Brixie Group since December 2021. Before that, they held various leadership positions at FWD Insurance, including Chairman of Audit Committee and Independent Director, among others. Tomas also served as a Mentor & Facilitator for 500StartUps (500Global), working with various startup initiatives worldwide. Pokorny was CEO & co-founding member of Pi Pay, a prominent e-payment services provider and mobile application in Cambodia. Additionally, they founded DQD Consulting and held multiple roles within the Cambodia Association of Finance and Technology, including Member of Board Directors & Secretary General and Chair of various committees. Earlier in their career, they were CEO of WorldBridge Outsourcing Solutions Co and Co-Chairman of the BritCham Cambodia: Online Innovations & Technologies (eCommerce) Business Group. Pokorny has a background in aviation, entrepreneurship, and start-ups.

Tomas Pokorny is currently in the process of obtaining a Master of Business Administration - MBA in International/Global Studies at CEMI MBA Studies, which they began in 2017 and will complete in 2023. Prior to this, they earned a Bachelor of Science - BSc (Hons) in Aeronautics/Aviation/Aerospace Science and Technology, General from VSB - Technical University of Ostrava, though the exact dates of their attendance are unknown. Tomas also holds certifications from the Civil Aviation Authority in Prague, Czech Republic, including an Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL) - Theory, Commercial Pilot License (CPL), and Private Pilot License (PPL) in various areas of flight.
