Joe Graves

Vice President, Finance at Brixton Capital

As Vice President of Finance, Joe is responsible for managing debt financing, contributing to the strategic plan, and overseeing the financial health of company projects. By combining strategic and operational goals, Joe manages the economic aspects of the firm’s projects. Additional duties include overseeing the finance group, undergoing financial assessments, generating reports, developing investor communications, managing relationships with lenders, and conducting risk assessments on business initiatives. Upon first joining Brixton Capital as an Asset Manager, Joe was responsible for managing commercial real estate properties in the firm’s portfolio.

Prior to joining Brixton Capital, Joe was a Leasing Manager for OliverMcMillan for two luxury developments. Joe was also an investment banking Associate in New York for J.P. Morgan’s Real Estate Investment Banking group in which he provided strategic advisory, conducted merger analysis, raised capital, and supported deal execution.

Joe graduated with merit from the United States Naval Academy in Annapolis, Maryland with a Bachelor of Science in Ocean Engineering. Joe received a Master of Science in Ocean Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley and an MBA from Harvard Business School. Joe Graves is active in Urban Land Institute local events, a member of the HBS Club of San Diego, and a CFA® charterholder.
