Courtney Jones (she/her) has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Courtney began their career as a Sales Associate at Bath and Body Works in 2010 before transitioning to a Supervisor and Barista role at Cafe Moka in 2011. In 2015, Courtney worked as a Programmatic Media Trader at Seventh Point Media & Marketing, where they optimized campaigns and conducted competitor research. Courtney then joined ForRent.com® in 2017 as a Digital Advertising Specialist, managing advertising campaigns and analyzing performance. Most recently, Courtney worked at Brkthru, starting as a Digital Media Buyer in 2018 and progressing to the roles of Digital Media Analyst and Analytics Supervisor. Currently, they hold the position of Director of Learning and Development at Brkthru. Throughout their career, Courtney has also gained experience as a private tutor, teaching various subjects to high school students.
Courtney Jones earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Psychology from Old Dominion University, where they attended from 2012 to 2015. Before that, they attended Tidewater Community College from 2010 to 2012, although no specific degree or field of study is provided. Additionally, Courtney has obtained various certifications in fields such as databases, data analysis, and digital advertising from institutions like Oracle, Snowflake, Google, and Tableau. The most recent certification obtained to date is "Databases for Developers: Foundations" from Oracle in 2022.
