Joel Nowak Ma

Joel Nowak MA, MSW is an experienced leader in cancer advocacy and research, with significant contributions in various organizations. As a founding member of the Herbert Irving Comprehensive Cancer Center and an Executive Director of Cancer ABCs, Joel has focused on improving resources for cancer survivors. In addition, Joel serves as an External Board Member for the Prostate Cancer Clinical Trials Consortium and participates in multiple advisory and consulting roles across renowned institutions, including the Broad Institute of MIT and Harvard, and the Congressionally Directed Medical Research Program. Joel's background includes leadership positions in numerous prostate cancer advocacy groups and a robust educational foundation with degrees in social work and adult education administration.
