Kian Sani is a co-founder and board member of Operation Outbreak, Inc., an innovative initiative focused on outbreak science education, launched in January 2025 alongside notable collaborators including Andres Colubri, Todd Brown, and Pardis Sabeti. Since 2020, Kian has served as Chief of Staff and Director of Development at the Broad Institute of MIT and Harvard, overseeing the Operation Outbreak program aimed at enhancing community resilience against infectious diseases. Previous roles include Undergraduate Research Scientist and External Affairs Specialist in the Sabeti Group, Executive Vice President of the Harvard College Law Society, and President of the Harvard College Iranian Association. Kian also advised the Iran National Council for Free Elections on political affairs, chaired the Social and Public Relations committee for The Harvard Undergraduate Research Journal, and was involved with the Harvard Philippine Forum. Kian holds a Bachelor's Degree in Molecular and Cellular Biology and Government from Harvard University.
