Lee McGuire

Lee McGuire serves as the Chief Communications Officer (CCO) at the Broad Institute of MIT and Harvard since January 2015, leading a team of 25 communications professionals in support of a nonprofit biomedical research enterprise. Prior to this role, McGuire was the Director of Communications for Boston Public Schools from May 2010 to January 2015, managing a comprehensive communications strategy for a district that serves 57,000 students and operates on a nearly $1 billion budget. McGuire's earlier experience includes roles as a Political Reporter at KHOU-TV, Legislative Reporter at KVUE Media Group, and Reporter at KTVB News Group and KOMU 8 & Mid-Missouri CW, covering significant political and health issues. McGuire holds a Master’s degree in Broadcast Communications from the University of Missouri-Columbia and a Bachelor’s degree in Politics from Princeton University.
