Saman Ehsan is a Senior Software Engineer at the Broad Institute of MIT and Harvard, specializing in the development of features for the Terra Data Repository and contributing to the Workflow Launcher to support genomic data processing for the NIH All of Us Research project. Previously, Saman worked with the Human Cell Atlas team to automate processing of single-cell RNA sequencing data and improve cloud-based analysis workflows. Prior experience includes software development at the Center for Open Science, where contributions were made to the Open Science Framework and an Ember.js application for psychology research, as well as an internship focused on Python library development. Saman holds a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from the University of Virginia and is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Computer Science at the Georgia Institute of Technology.
