Sumaiya Nazeen

Remote Associate Researcher at Broad Institute

Sumaiya Nazeen is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Harvard Medical School and Brigham and Women's Hospital since November 2019. Additionally, Sumaiya serves as a Remote Associate Researcher at the Broad Institute from January 2013 to the present. Previously, Sumaiya was a Postdoctoral Associate at MIT Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence Laboratory (CSAIL) for a brief period in 2019 and a Graduate Research Assistant at CSAIL from September 2012 to August 2019, concurrently holding positions as a Ludwig Center for Molecular Oncology Graduate Fellow and an International Fulbright S&T Fellow. Sumaiya's early career includes a lecturer role at Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET) from March 2011 to August 2012 and an academic pursuit at BUET from 2006 to 2011. Sumaiya earned a Ph.D. and a Master of Science in Computer Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, completing these degrees in 2019 and 2014, respectively, following a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Engineering from BUET in 2011.
